Our Houston clinic is moving!

Our previous office was damaged by Hurricane Ike back in September and repairs were going much too slowly for our liking and it was time for a change anyway. How long will my visit be at New Look Laser Tattoo Removal?

The length of your visit at New Look Laser Tattoo Removal in Dallas depends on if you are new or follow-up patient and how big your tattoo is. If you are scheduled for a consultation then you will be scheduled for a thirty minute time slot. Most clients do not take 30 minutes for a consultation (most are about 10 minutes long) but this will give you plenty of time to get all of your questions answerd and do a first treatment if you would like to. We tend to schedule appointments every thirty minutes. Most treatments do not take that long but if you are someone with multiple tattoos or one big one then we may schedule you for up to one hour for your laser tattoo removal session. Most treatments take 2 to 20 minutes depending on the size. It is very important to us that we have plenty of time to give you the best treatment and the most information that we can.

Healing Time After Laser Tattoo Removal

Most of the healing takes place within the first 72 hours and is complete during the first week to two weeks following your first tattoo removal treatment. As you progress in your treatments the healing is quicker and quicker because your tattoo has less and less ink each time you come in. The density of the ink in your tattoo plays a big role in the amount of tissue injury so as the density decreases, there is less that is breaking up into smaller peices and cause a small amount of injury to the tissue.
